The role of the City of Leduc Council is to provide leadership to Leduc's municipal corporation. Members of council are responsible for the overall direction of the municipality through their role as policy makers. Policies set by city council are guidelines for administration to follow as it handles daily operations of the municipality.
Council
Council has seven elected members, one mayor and six councillors. Municipal elections are held every four years and council members are all voted in 'at large' which means by all residents who vote. All council members are part-time.
Council meetings
Council meetings are usually held on second, third and fourth Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m. You are welcome to participate, or watch remotely online through our live stream.
