City Council

City council is committed to responsible, visionary leadership.

The role of the City of Leduc Council is to provide leadership to Leduc's municipal corporation. Members of council are responsible for the overall direction of the municipality through their role as policy makers. Policies set by city council are guidelines for administration to follow as it handles daily operations of the municipality.

Council

Council has seven elected members, one mayor and six councillors. Municipal elections are held every four years and council members are all voted in 'at large' which means by all residents who vote.  All council members are part-time.

Council meetings

Council meetings are usually held on second, third and fourth Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m. You are welcome to participate, or watch remotely online through our live stream.

Virtual Council Meetings

Council meetings are held three Mondays per month, unless otherwise stated in the schedule. Residents are encouraged to watch these meetings live through our live stream.
