  • Distracted driving
  • Driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Driving with reduced visibilty due to snow and ice on vehicle lights and windows
  • Not driving for the road conditions

Any motorists travelling near the checkstop site are welcome to stop and talk to one of the attending emergency/enforcement personnel about the purpose of this campaign. Checkstop participants will receive a holiday treat and helpful safety tips.

To ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff, attendees will be required to remain in their vehicles at all times. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community safe and healthy!
