Update June 3, 2021
The City of Leduc, in partnership with the Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, has launched the 'Get Digital' e-commerce grant - a support that will assist local businesses to establish or expand their online presence. The program will connect local small business owners with a University of Alberta School of Retailing student who will provide up to 12 hours of consulting services which may include an online audit, recommendations for enhancements, and referral to additional resources. The full cost of the consultation is covered by City funding.
Update May 20, 2021
The Province of Alberta has announced new financial supports to assist businesses and non-profits with hiring and training Albertans for new jobs. Starting May 20, 2021, employers can apply for provincial funding through the Alberta Jobs Now program to offset the cost of hiring and training unemployed or underemployed Albertans in new or vacant positions.
