City of Leduc readies for GoA’s Stage 2: Open for Summer Plan

Thursday, June 10, 2021

As of today, Alberta enters the next phase of the province’s ‘Open for Summer Plan’ setting the stage for what it will look like in many communities, like Leduc.

“We see this as a positive, yet measured, step forward to help us reach a pre-pandemic norm,” says Leduc Mayor Bob Young. “The last 15 months have been incredibly difficult and challenging, so we want to support this momentum as a clear sign that brighter days are on the horizon.”

Stage 2 of the Open for Summer Plan will see:

  • Reopening of the Leduc Recreation Centre
  • In-person dining will resume, indoors and outdoors
  • Outdoor social gatherings up to 20 people
