Leduc City Council meeting change
Starting Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, Leduc City Council meetings will have a new start time of 5 p.m., and no longer be held as two different meeting times of 5 p.m. (Committee-of-the-Whole) and 7 p.m. (regular council meeting).
This change is more time efficient by:
- Reducing time gaps previously experienced between the 5 p.m. COW meeting adjournment and start of the 7 p.m. regular council meeting
- Moving items for closed session to the end of the meeting, instead of having a closed session in the middle of a meeting
Council meeting times and agendas can be found on the website at: https://www.leduc.ca/council-meetings
The amended 2021 council meeting schedule outlines dates from February to mid September; council meetings will not be held following nomination day as this is an election year.
