The Alexandra Pool is a chlorinated outdoor pool that maintains a temperature of 28 – 30 degrees (can vary with weather) and is open in the summer months.
The facility includes:

Dive Tank: 10.5m x 9m with depth of 3.5m

Three change rooms: women’s, men’s, universal, with changing stalls and toilet facilities
Lockers for personal belongings
A tuck shop that carries all your swimming needs, such as goggles, nose clips, swim caps, bathing suits, swim diapers, towels, and sunscreen.

Know Before You Go
- Children seven years of age and under must be actively supervised (in the water and within arm’s reach) by an individual 14 years or older at all times. Supervisors will be given a matching wristband.
- Children zero to seven years of age must always be accompanied (maximum four children to one supervisor).
- Children eight+ years of age do not need to be accompanied.
All patrons under 16 years of age will be required to swim two lengths of an acceptable swim for the lifeguards. Once the lengths have been completed to the facility standard, the patron will receive their deep-end mark and be able to enter the deep end.
Children under eight years of age must be accompanied in the deep end by their supervisor (14 years or older). Children can swim for their mark in a PFD and the PFD must be worn at all times in the deep end.
Disposable and cloth diapers are NOT allowed in the pools. Swim diapers are required for all children/patrons who are not toilet trained and are available at Guest Services for a nominal charge.
Appropriate swimming apparel is required while in the pool.
For health and safety reasons, outdoor footwear and strollers are not permitted on deck or in the change rooms.
The pool deck is a food-free zone. Water in non-breakable containers is acceptable on deck.
Patrons are encouraged to park in lots located at the Alex Arena and the Civic Centre. The parking lot directly south of the outdoor pool has been converted to a turnaround for traffic with accessible parking stalls. Please see the map below for a list of additional parking spots.
