The Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, requires city council to hold a public hearing with respect to a proposed bylaw to adopt or amend:
- An inter-municipal development plan
- A municipal development plan
- An area structure plan
- An area redevelopment plan
- A land-use bylaw

Bylaw 1191 -2024 –Adoption of Off-site Levy Bylaw
- Adoption of Bylaw 1191-2024 proposes off-site levies to be used to pay for all or part of the capital cost of any of the following:
- new or expanded facilities for the storage, transmission, treatment or supplying of water;
- new or expanded facilities for the treatment, movement or disposal of sanitary sewage;
- new or expanded roads required for or impacted by a subdivision or development;
- new of expanded fire hall facilities;
- land required for or in connection with any of the afore mentioned facilities.

Bylaw 1196 -2024 – Proposed amendment to Land Use Bylaw
- Public notice for Bylaw 1196-2024 proposes the removal of references to the City of Leduc/Leduc County Intermunicipal Development Plan and other administrative amendments, and amendments to Notification and Advertising requirements
- Second and third readings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Nov. 25, 2024

Bylaw 1197 -2024 – Proposed Advertising Bylaw
- Public notice for Bylaw 1197-2024 proposes an Advertising Bylaw that specifies the types of advertising and notification methods that City Administration will use to communicate bylaws, resolutions, meetings, public hearings, or other items within Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act.
- Second and third readings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Nov. 25, 2024
