Willow Park will see continued neighbourhood renewal work with road and sidewalk reconstruction on 51 Avenue, 52 Avenue, 54 Avenue, 51 Street and 51A Street to ensure continued stability and safety for years to come.

In addition, water main work will be done on 51 Avenue and stormwater infrastructure upgrades on 54 Avenue and 51 Street to improve drainage in the area as identified by the Stormwater Master Plan.

There will be temporary impacts to street parking, access to driveways, mail delivery, and bussing to complete the work as efficiently as possible. Residents in the area are encouraged to watch for signage and additional details from the contractor throughout the season. Notices will be delivered to houses prior to closures to give advance warning of construction impacts.

Note: If you have new concrete installed on your property, the application of ice melt can cause damage. The City recommends using sand to control ice on new concrete for the first year. Free sand and chips bins are placed around the City for you – find your closest bin location.
