Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
As an integrated fire services team, every full-time member and most paid-on-call members are trained as both firefighter and paramedic, holding an Acute Care Paramedic (ACP) or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) designation to respond to and support medical emergencies. The dual ability allows us to provide a robust and versatile service to citizens of Leduc in an event of an emergency.
Accreditation
Everyone at Leduc Fire Services is involved in accreditation, from frontline staff to the management team, as we’re all committed to quality, patient safety, and continually improving its services. Our participation with Accreditation Canada provides us the opportunity to learn what we’re doing well and areas to improve.
With external surveyors assessing Leduc’s services against national standards, we’re better able to focus our quality improvement efforts. Accreditation is an ongoing process and we want to hear from you.
Tell us how we did by completing this survey about patient care.
