Interested in becoming a lifeguard or swim instructor?

The LRC offers training and certification in both streams of aquatic leadership through the Lifesaving Society. If it’s been awhile since you’ve completed your swim lesson levels and you want to see if you have what it takes, consider a Swim Evaluation to see what you might need to work on. If you are unsure if you have a good understanding of the skills required, check out this information. If you were certified with the Canadian Red Cross in either leadership stream, there are special pathways you can take to transition your certifications before the end of 2022.
