Influencers | City of Leduc

Influencer awards are designed to celebrate and honour Leduc’s youth between the ages of 17 and 21 for their outstanding contributions to the community.

Successful receipts will receive a $1,000 bursary, and up to four bursaries will be granted per year.

Criteria

A sunlit park path lined with trees and greenery, leading into the distance.

Nominees must be between 17 and 21 years of age at the time of nomination.

Nominees must be current residents of the City of Leduc.

Nominees can not be paid for any contributions they make to the community.

Nominations are open to individuals only.

Youths will be considered for this award based on:

Outstanding and exemplary actions to support their neighbours, families, schools, or community
Demonstrated leadership, influence, and willingness to take initiative in meaningful ways
Actions creating a memorable, impactful, and lasting difference in the community
Showcasing positive attitudes, behaviours, and decision-making abilities

Procedure

All nominations are reviewed and awarded by the Influencers Committee.
Nominators are responsible for submitting a complete application with all necessary details and information to help guide the review process, including two letters of support.
All decisions of the Influencers Committee are final.
