City of Leduc Facility Rentals

The Leduc Recreation Centre is the heart of recreation and events in our community. All the facilities can be booked by the hour or for an entire day. We can also host small meetings or large trade shows and events.

Alexandra Outdoor Pool

If you're looking to host a summer swim party, you can also rent the Alexandra Outdoor Pool. 

Aspen Custom Trailers Arena, Wilhauk Beef Jerky &  Chemco Arenas

The twin and performance arenas at the LRC allow for year-round ice in Leduc. These surfaces can be booked for community and sporting groups, private bookings and events.

City of Leduc Ball Diamonds and Fields

For both organized sporting and unstructured recreational uses, there are a number of open space and recreation areas in Leduc.

• Lede Park – complete with 7 diamonds (300’ fences and dugouts). We provide concession and indoor washrooms. Diamonds are groomed once per day. Diamond #4 at Lede Park is equipped with lights for evening and night time play.
• Elks Diamonds – 2 diamonds about a 5 minute drive from Lede Park. Diamonds have 250’ fences and dugouts. No concession. Bathrooms are porta-potty.
• Reservoir Diamonds – 3 diamonds about a 5 minute drive from Lede Park. Diamonds have 265’ fences and dugouts.
• Aileen Faller Park – 2 diamonds about a 5 minute drive from Lede Park. Diamonds have 240' fences.

Bleachers and portable toilets are available at all diamonds.

Fred Johns Park Picnic Sites

Situated within 65 acres of land, Fred Johns Park is one of Leduc's premier day-use parks connected to the Multiway Trail System.  

The City of Leduc has 3 bookable picnic sites in Fred Johns Park. Picnic Site A (near parking lot) and Picnic C (near reservoir) are both uncovered sites with one picnic table.  Site B is a covered site with a gazebo and four picnic tables.

Online bookings of picnic sites are available in 2-hour slots. Payment is due at the time of booking.

Inquiries and rentals for longer or shorter amounts of time can be made by calling our Events & Bookings Department at 780-980-7118 or emailing events_bookings@leduc.ca. If you require a change or cancellation to your booking, please contact the Events & Bookings department.

Reserve your Picnic Site 

Kosmos Community Kitchen 

In the centre of the facility, patrons and groups can book a state-of-the-art kitchen facility for cooking classes, kids' parties or meetings. The kitchen includes refrigerators, gas ranges, microwaves and ovens.

Leduc Co-op and Leduc County Fieldhouses

The LRC houses two indoor fieldhouses. The entire Leduc County Fieldhouse can be booked for large field sports or divided in thirds by curtains to accommodate smaller court bookings.

The Leduc Co-op Fieldhouse is ideal for full-field sports that require artificial turf or a netting enclosure. The fieldhouses can be combined to host larger scale events. Catering services are available onsite to provide food services for all occasions. A servery is located adjacent to the field house to host outside food services providers.

LPH Board Room and Legion Room

This room provides a professional and comfortable environment for meetings, seminars or programs with drop-down screen and overhead projector.

Rotary Meeting Room and MNP Room 

Individual program rooms are available for booking. These rooms are slightly larger than board rooms and provide the perfect option for larger meetings and smaller events such as children’s birthday parties and baby showers.

Special Event Applications

Please submit a Special Event Application at least 4 - 6 weeks before your event. This helps us plan for permit and insurance requirements and gives us enough time to plan for resources, should you need help from any City departments.

Rental Rates

The prices below are hourly rates (GST extra) unless otherwise indicated. Daily and weekly rates are available; please call Events & Bookings at 780-980-7118. Arenas

Prime Time Ice: Monday - Friday from 5 - 10 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Non-Prime Time Ice: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. after 10 p.m.

Fieldhouses

A damage deposit is required for servery and event use.

Prime Time Court/Field: Monday - Friday from 5 - 10 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Non-Prime Time Court/Field: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. after 10 p.m.
