Leduc City Council approved public appointments for the City’s new Policing Committee during the City Council meeting on April 14.

Two-year term

  • Bill Casey
  • Michael Bole

Three-year term

  • Greg Binnie
  • Russell Lee

As outlined in the recently approved Police Committee Bylaw, the committee will:

  • Help develop a yearly plan of priorities and strategies for municipal policing in consultation with the Officer In Charge.
  • Report to Council on matters of public concern as the Committee deems appropriate and in the public interest.
  • Represent the interests and concerns of the public to Leduc’s RCMP leadership.

City of Leduc boards and committees are established through bylaws. Appointed residents who sit on the advisory boards advise and make recommendations to City Council on a broad range of programs, services and activities that impact our growing community.
