Essential repairs to the street feature section of the Leduc Skate Park will be made in summer 2026 to address immediate safety concerns.

What Leduc Skate Park users can expect:

  • The street feature section will remain open.
  • The bowl feature will be closed indefinitely.
  • Essential repairs will take place this summer while minimizing disruptions.
  • Safety signage will be posted on site to highlight potential risks.

While this work is underway, planning will begin for a new all-wheel facility to replace the current park. Information about public engagement and the design of a new facility will be shared as it becomes available.

The Leduc Skate Park, located along 50 Street, has a total area of 2,173 m²  (23,389.98 sq. ft.) and includes two sections. 

  • A bowl section: Total area of 784m² (8,438.91 sq. ft.) and includes a spine and clamshell.
  • The street section: Total area of 1,389m² (14,951.10 sq. ft.) and contains a seven-set with rail, a five-set with a rail, one manual pad, one San Francisco ledge, a plaza path, five additional rails, and one fire hydrant.
