Positive Tickets
Positive Ticketing is designed to create opportunities for Leduc’s younger population to interact with local law enforcement – Leduc Enforcement Services and Leduc RCMP.
The positive actions of Leduc’s children and youth matter to this community and we want them to know. May 1 - Nov. 30, law enforcement personnel will be patrolling in hopes of witnessing good behaviours, kind acts and safety-first decisions to issue a ‘positive ticket’ and fun treat, thanks to local business sponsors.
Children and youth may be rewarded for the following:
- Wearing a helmet and safety gear
- Practicing crosswalk safety
- Helping others, like holding open a door
- Picking up litter/trash in a park
- Knowledgeable of safety tips pertaining to their age group and/or activity
- Volunteering
