Here are the types tickets issued in Leduc:

Municipal Bylaw Transfer Violation on a provincial violation ticket

issued when a municipal bylaw tag isn’t paid within 30 days of issue

If a Municipal Bylaw Tag is issued, there are two (2) options:

Pay in-person or by mail

Leduc Civic Centre, 1 Alexandra Park, Leduc, Alta. T9E 4C4. Failure to pay will result in a Municipal Bylaw Transfer Violation on a Provincial Violation Ticket being issued. The fine amount will increase on the ticket for any unpaid offences issued under the Traffic Bylaw.

Challenge

Wait 30 days and not pay the specific fine amount so the Municipal Bylaw Transfer Violation on a Provincial Violation Ticket is issued. This will be mailed to the address listed on your Alberta Drivers License or identification card. Once this ticket is received via mail, you can attend the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc and plead not guilty where a trial date will be set.

Pay Online: Visit Traffic.tickets.alberta.ca or MyAlberta eSERVICES

In-person: visit any registry office or courthouse in Alberta. They accept cash, cheque (payable to the Government of Alberta), money order, credit card and Interac.

Challenge: Traffic Ticket Service online can be used to make a payment, request time to pay, dispute your ticket, or request a trial date. This service does not handle bylaw tickets. If your ticket was issued under a municipal bylaw (e.g. a parking ticket), please visit the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc and plead not guilty where a trial date will be set.

Need more time? If you don’t dispute the ticket and need time to pay, visit the court indicated on the ticket or use the Traffic Ticket Service online. This must be done on or before the appearance date. If you have been given time to pay a fine and require an extension, you must go back to the court where you were granted time to pay. This must be done before the date the fine is due.
