The need to balance economic, social, cultural, recreational, environmental and governance issues in decision-making is critical in creating places where people want to live, work and play.

The primary objectives of the 2009 Community Conference were to provide a brief report on progress made on Corporate Strategic Plan priorities since the 2007 Community Visioning Session and secure community input on five key topics to support the development of a long-term vision for our community.
