2022 property assessment notices are on the way

Thursday, January 20, 2022

This year, about 14,000 City of Leduc property owners can expect to receive their 2022 property assessment notices in the mail. The assessment notice shows the market value of your property, which will be used to calculate the annual municipal property tax and provincial education tax for 2022. This process ensure taxes are distributed in a fair and equitable manner in relation to the open market.

Once property owners receive their notices, please take the opportunity to review the notice. Owners who have any questions or concerns can follow up with the City until March 29 by:

Assessment notices are not to be mistaken for the property tax bill, which will be mailed out in May.

If you have not received a notice or have questions about your assessment, contact the City by phone or email. For more resources and information on how to better understand your assessment, visit www.leduc.ca/taxation-assessment
