Chasing Midnight finishes filming in Leduc
Filming has officially wrapped on Chasing Midnight, a heist thriller with the theme “Twelve hours to change your life...”.
Residents would have likely seen film crews and cameras in-and-around downtown over a three-week period.
This was the second movie filmed in Leduc over the past year, with the Hallmark-style Christmas movie Cape Holly Christmas filming earlier this year in Downtown Leduc, Telford House, Leduc Civic Centre and other local spots.
Factory Film Studio recently moved their production operations from Kingston, ON, to Nisku, AB, and hopes to continue taking advantage of the incredible green spaces, heritage buildings, and downtown filming locations in Leduc and surrounding communities for upcoming projects.
The crews are mostly made up of local professionals. The economic boost to hosting production companies in, and around, Leduc remains a net positive for the community, and illustrates to other major businesses that Leduc is a terrific place to invest in.
The City would like to thank our residents and businesses for welcoming film crews and having patience with any disruptions filming may have caused.
