“On behalf of Leduc City Council and administration, I wish to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends, coworkers and loved ones of the victims of the tragic airplane crash in Iran on Wednesday morning. Among the 176 victims, 63 were Canadian and approximately 30 were from our region. It is a truly devastating time in Canadian history, and, as Canadians, we feel this loss and offer our sympathy and support. In honour and memory of the lives lost, the City of Leduc’s flags will be lowered to half-mast.”
