Leduc RCMP seek input on policing priorities
Leduc RCMP is looking to the public for recommendations on policing priorities for the 2024-25 fiscal year, through a survey available until Feb. 15, 2024.
The survey allows those who live in the Leduc RCMP Detachment area to have a say in the Detachment priorities and Annual Performance planning activities. Leduc RCMP uses these policing priorities along with consultation with the community, local leadership, governments, and stakeholders to ensure that police officers focus on issues of identified importance.
"Involving the people we serve in identifying their concerns is absolutely crucial in their police having success in the community," says Inspector Jeff McBeth, Leduc RCMP Officer in Charge. "The public's opinion has value and merit in ensuring that we are focused in the right direction and this is their opportunity to do exactly that."
The survey is available:
- Online
- Via email: request an electronic copy of the survey via email; completed surveys can be printed and submitted via a drop box at the Leduc RCMP Detachment, or returned to the same email
- On paper: paper copies of the survey and a drop box are available at the Leduc RCMP Detachment front desk
The final date to submit survey responses is Feb. 15, 2024. Survey results and the Annual Priorities will be shared with the public after results are reviewed and compiled. Answers will be kept anonymous. Thank you for your input and helping to shape the Leduc RCMP detachment priorities.
