It’s National Public Works Week May 19 - 25, 2019 and the City of Leduc is celebrating by hosting a public barbecue at the Rugby House in Lede Park on May 23 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Join the city’s Public Services department at this family-friendly event for hot dogs, pop, games, prizes and giveaways. There will be equipment displays and demonstrations for attendees to learn more about the services the department provides Leduc on a daily basis. Children will have a special opportunity to leave their mark by painting the snow blade of a City of Leduc plow.

National Public Works Week is celebrated across North America to bring recognition to the professionals who provide and maintain public facilities and services such as parks, roads and utilities. Public Services is responsible for the upkeep and improvement of systems and services vital to the community’s health, safety and comfort.
