Residents appointed to Leduc’s boards and committees
Leduc Council approved public appointments for the City’s boards and committees during the City Council meeting on Dec. 9.
City of Leduc boards and committees are established through bylaws. Appointed residents that sit on the advisory boards will advise and make recommendations to City Council on a broad range of programs, services and activities that impact our growing community. The quasi-judicial boards have legal power to decide on claims or disputes but are not associated with any government department.
“I am proud to welcome such a diverse and talented group of individuals to our new boards and committees,” said City of Leduc Mayor Bob Young. “Their expertise, dedication, and passion for Leduc will play a vital role in shaping the decisions that impact the future of our community.”
