Road closures - Santa Claus Parade

On Sunday, Dec. 8, the Leduc Downtown District’s Santa Claus Parade will take place at 6 p.m., travelling west from the 50 Avenue and 47 Street intersection to the 50 Avenue main intersection, then continuing north on 50 Street and ending at 54 Avenue (turning east on 54 Avenue to disperse).

Motorists are asked to follow posted signage and encouraged to plan detours, as road closures in the area of the parade route will begin to roll out at 4:45 p.m. onward. A parking ban will also be in effect on 50 Avenue between 47 Street and 50 Street starting at about 4 p.m. Any vehicles parked on a parade route, or other designated ‘No Parking’ areas will be towed.
