Updates to seasonal patio policy support local business

Updates to the City of Leduc’s Seasonal Outdoor Patio Policy were approved on July 5, 2021, to provide an opportunity for businesses in Leduc to open seasonal patios between April 15 and Oct. 15 using city property. This includes sidewalks, parking stalls and boulevards. 

Previously offered in the downtown core only, the patio program has been broadened to allow businesses anywhere in Leduc to participate and will be offered on an annual basis moving forward. 

To participate, business owners must complete and submit an application form to Planning and Economic Development.
