Family Resource Network (FRN)
The Family Resource Network delivers high quality prevention and early intervention services and supports for families with children 0 to 18 years old. Services are delivered directly or through collaboration with other qualified services agencies or community partners – a ‘hub and spoke’ model. The City of Leduc Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), which is the network (hub), will coordinate with local groups (spokes) to support you.
The Family Resource Network aims to support residents by helping them become strong and resilient families through the focus on three core areas: child development and well-being, caregiver capacity building and social connection and supports.
Parenting/Caregiver Support
It takes a village to raise a child and the Family Resource Network is here to help you. Building on your strengths and skills, we are here to help you be the type of parent/caregiver you envision to be.

Ages and Stages Questionnaire (2 months to 5 years): Completing an ASQ can provide a helpful look at how your child is doing in important areas like communication, fine and gross motor development and problem solving; help you understand your child’s development and know what to look for next; and help identify your child’s strengths, uncover new milestones to celebrate, and reveal any areas where your child may need support.
