2022 City of Leduc budget deliberations set to begin
The newly elected Leduc City Council is getting to work with five meetings of budget deliberations starting Nov. 8. Over these five sessions, the City of Leduc’s 2022 operating and capital budget will be determined and Council will set the focus for the coming years. A complete budget binder and supporting documents are available for review at www.Leduc.ca/finance/budget.
The 2022 budget schedule and agendas are as follows:
Nov. 8: Financial overview and Corporate Services operating and capital budget
Nov. 15: Community and Protective Services operating and capital budget
Nov. 22: Infrastructure and Planning operating and capital budget
Nov. 29: Capital overview of all departments and flagged items
Dec. 13: Request for approval of the 2022 Operating and Capital Budgets
Residents are welcomed to take part in public commentary during each session to voice their concerns and share ways City administration can best support the community. Registration is required to take part by contacting the City Clerk’s Office prior to each session via email (city_clerk@leduc.ca) or phone (780-980-7132).
All budget deliberation discussions will be livestreamed as part of the regular meetings of Leduc City Council at www.Leduc.ca/live.
