Remembrance Day 2024

The Remembrance Day Ceremony in Leduc is hosted by the Leduc Legion Branch No. 108 and is an opportunity to pause, remember and honour all who have served, those who continue serving today, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our country. Poppies will be available at various locations in and around Leduc from October 25 - November 11.  

Details: 

• Monday, Nov. 11
• 9:45 a.m. - Cenotaph Service at the Leduc Civic Centre Cenotaph 
• 10:30 a.m. - Remembrance Day Service at the Leduc Recreation Centre Fieldhouse 
• 11:15 a.m. - Veterans and Community Social at the Leduc Recreation Centre Legion Room (2nd floor)  

Flags lowered to half-mast 
Flags at City facilities will be lowered to half-mast on Nov. 11 in recognition of Remembrance Day.

Notes:

• The Leduc Civic Centre will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11.
• City facility operating holiday hours.
