Nominate someone for Leduc’s Sports Hall of Fame

Leduc’s sports and recreation community is built on the passion, dedication, and hard work of its athletes, coaches, volunteers, and sport leaders.  

If you know someone whose involvement in sport has brought pride to the city, now is the time to honor their legacy; nominate local athletes, teams, or sport builders/leaders for induction into the Leduc Sports Hall of Fame. 

Since its inception in 2015, the Leduc Sports Hall of Fame has inducted 28 individuals and groups who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their respective sports, and this year, the Hall of Fame Committee is looking to celebrate more local stars. 

Nominations for the 2025 induction are now open, and the deadline to submit a nomination is March 31. Once submitted, the nominations will be reviewed by the Leduc Sports Hall of Fame Committee, comprised of representatives from across the city’s sporting community. 

The selected inductees will be celebrated at the biennial Leduc Sports Hall of Fame Gala in the fall. This prestigious event will highlight the individuals who have played a significant role in Leduc's sport and recreation landscape.
