Leduc has shown its strong environmental leadership through initiatives ranging from waste diversion to the Telford Lake boardwalk extension. Our environmental goals and objectives are set out in the Leduc Environmental Plan – Phase 1, approved by Leduc City Council in 2012.
The environmental plan also identifies the development of a plan to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions – the leading cause of our changing climate. Work has begun on this important initiative.
