Youth Peer Support Training

Become a certified Community Helper. In partnership with Alberta Health Services this workshop supports the natural abilities of young people in their helping role with peers. The program includes learning about effective communication, self-care, coping with stress, knowing when to refer peers to professional support services, handling crisis situations and suicide awareness.

This course is available to Leduc youth grades 9 - 12
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - lunch included
