Stuff-a-Cruiser for the Leduc & District Food Bank

Saturday, December 2, 2023

For the 5th year, Leduc RCMP members in partnership with City of Leduc Enforcement Services, Vintage Towing and Oil Country Towing are stuffing cruisers and tow trucks in support of the Leduc & District Food Bank.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 4 p. m., officers, tow truck operators and volunteers will be collecting donations.

The participating locations in Leduc include:

  • Safeway, 6112 50 Street
  • Craig's No Frills, 3915 50 Street
  • Co-Op, 5421 50 Street
  • Wal-Mart, 530 Discovery Way

"Leduc RCMP is thrilled to come together for a 5th year with our partners and the Food Bank to support our community with the annual Stuff a Cruiser event," says Constable Cheri-Lee Smith, Leduc RCMP Public Information Officer.," It is important to give back to the community we serve and help those in need especially as we head into one of the busiest times of the year for the food bank."

Last year, the community, the detachment and our partners, came together with a generous donation of over 2, 600 lbs of food. This year, as the need to support our food bank grows, we are challenging community to beat last years donation amount.

Food Bank most needed items:

  • Hamburger Helper
  • Cake mixes
  • Cooking oil
  • Rice/Pasta Side Kicks
  • Mayonnaise (small jars)
  • Instant potatoes
  • Chili, stews, Chunky Soups
  • Small jars of jam
  • Salmon
  • Assorted vegetables
  • Canned meats (chicken, ham, etc.)

Leduc RCMP, City of Leduc Enforcement Services, Vintage Towing and Oil Country Towing are excited to see everyone at the event and to make this a #DecemberToRemember.
