Volunteer Management Workshop Series

The City of Leduc is a trusted partner and supporter of volunteerism in Leduc, and we are here to help non-profits develop their volunteer base. This series of courses will teach you the basics of recruitment, retainment, and volunteerism management. 

Workshop Series Course Information 

• January 25, 2025 - Leadership & Management for Volunteer Managers  
• February 15, 2025 - Risk Management for Volunteer Managers  
• March 15, 2025 - Orientation, Training & supervision of Volunteers  
• April 12, 2025 - Volunteer recognition & Retention (this is great, just the start of April is National Week)  
• May 3, 2025 - Mutual Performance Evaluations   

Local nonprofit rate:  

• $120 for whole series 
• $24 per individual course 

Local individual not affiliated with local non-profit:  

• $150.00 for whole series 
• $30 per individual course 

Registration deadline for the series is Jan. 17, 2025. Individual workshop registration will close seven days before the scheduled workshop date.

All workshops take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre. Lunch is provided.
