Stories of Hope: Wilma and Stan

A couple, Wilma and Stan, started coming to The Hub; both highly addicted. This couple struggled to even keep a roof over their heads or have enough food. They would come to The Hub just for food and started engaging with us regularly and often started coming just to talk. After roughly a year of this, they started saying they were ready to break their addiction. Having been in touch with Wilma’s parents, they offered to come and take her and help her with rehab. She has currently been clean for four months and has a relationship now with her daughter. Stan is also currently in rehab and has now been clean for three months. After they both have completed rehab they hope to set up a home with their daughter.
