Leduc Rural Crime Watch

The Leduc Rural Crime Watch Association was formed out of concern for increasing rural criminal activity and a desire to enhance the local RCMP detachment. They currently have over 950 rural households registered as active members and report suspicious activity to the RCMP for potential follow-up and investigation, if necessary. RCW members, enrolled in the fan out component of our organization, receive notification of suspicious activity in their area as it becomes known. They’re encouraged to report any information the RCMP may find useful.

Auxiliary program

The auxiliary program was introduced in 1963 to enhance community policing and crime prevention initiatives. Auxiliaries give their time to help keep our communities safe, and the RCMP values these volunteers greatly and considers them a vital part of the organization.

Support staff volunteer program
