Bob McGill Born in 1962, Bob McGill moved with his family to Leduc in 1970. He played minor hockey in Leduc for eight years. In 1978 he went to Abbortsford, B.C. to play in the BCJHL. From 1979 to 1981, he played with the WHL's Victoria Cougars, winning the WHL championship in 1981. - View full bio -	Kay McGill Kay McGill moved with her family to Leduc in 1970 and with her sons enrolled in minor hockey for the 1970-71 season. She was immediately involved in the hockey community. She volunteered for the Leduc Minor Hockey Association and worked at the Alexandra Arena concession until 1973. She then founded the Leduc Minor Sports Mothers' Group, which ran the concession and donated the proceeds to local spots groups. Ray McKay Ray McKay was born in Edmonton in 1946. He played most of his minor hockey in Leduc until he started playing AAA Midget hockey for the Jasper Place Lions in Edmonton when he was 15. When he was 17, he started playihng Juvenile hockey for the Jasper Place Mohawks. While playing Juvenile, he signed a "C" form with the Chicago Blackhawks. In 1969, he became the first player from Leduc to play in the NHL. - View full bio -	Vicky Lynch Pounds In 1980, Vicky Lynch Pounds started running with the Leduc Track Club at the age of 10, quickly establishing herself an elite athlete. In Grade 6, she competed in the Edmonton Journal Indoor Games and won both the 200 m and 800 m races. As a result, athletes had to choose one event only in subsequent years.  - View full bio -
