Event Details

Pancake Breakfast 
When: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
Where: Leduc Co-Op Food Store parking lot 

Join us for a pancake breakfast hosted by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 108 Leduc and Lions Club Leduc.
Breakfast is $6 per plate and includes:

  • 2 pancakes
  • 1 sausage
  • Scrambled eggs
  • Coffee or juice

Sponsored by Co-op, Val-Mart Leduc, Blackjacks, Kosmos, McDonalds and Tim Hortons. 
 

Car Show 
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Where: Mainstreet from 50 St to 49 St 
How to register: No registration required. Come show off your classic or unique vehicle!

Canada Day car show at Block 50. On-site will be kid-friendly activities and live entertainment by Hockey Circus presented by City of Leduc at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. 
 

Public Swim 
When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
Where: Leduc Recreation Centre and Alexandra Outdoor Pool 

Alexandra Pool toonie ($2) swim. Regular admission rates apply at the LRC Aquatic Centre.  
 

Family Activities at the Grain Elevator 
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Where: Grain Elevator 

Join us at the Grain Elevator for free family-friendly Canada Day activities. On-site will be: 

  • Petting zoo and horseback rides 
  • Face painting 
  • Inflatable slide 
  • Penny arcade games 
  • Tours of the Grain Elevator 
  • Food trucks  

Street parking is available on 50 Ave between 49 St and 47 St.  
 

Community Concert featuring The Trews and Arcana Kings 
When: 5 to 10:30 p.m. 
Where: Leduc Recreation Centre east parking lot 

Bring your lawn chairs and foot-stomping boots for the Canada Day community concert featuring The Trews, sponsored by KTP Mechanical. The Arcana Kings will open the show on the Maclab Canada Day Stage in the LRC east parking lot.  

  • 5:30 p.m. - Welcomes & O' Canada
  • 7:00 p.m. - Arcana Kings
  • 9:00 p.m. - The Trews

The concert will go ahead rain or shine! Extreme weather events like wind or thunderstorms may affect the concert schedule. Updates will be shared to this page and on the City’s social media.  

On-site will be: 

  • Food Trucks 
  • Beer Gardens by Leduc Brewing Co.*  
  • Entertainment by Hockey Circus at 5 and 8:15 p.m. 
  • Family activities including inflatables and face painting until 7 p.m.
  • New! On-site Mental Health First Aid in partnership with Riseup

*All bags subject to search upon entry to beer gardens. Lawn chairs are not allowed in beer gardens. 

What is Mental Health First Aid?

  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as physical first aid is administered to an injured person before medical treatment can be obtained, MHFA is given until appropriate treatment is found or until the crisis is resolved.

Weather & Fire Conditions 

Canada Day events and activities are subject to change depending on weather conditions on July 1. Most activities will proceed rain or shine. Conditions that will impact scheduled events include: 

  • Thunderstorms 
  • Extreme wind 
  • Fire ban

Road Closures & Other Impacts 

The Leading Edge Physiotherapy Pickleball Facility will close at 3 p.m. on July 1 to accommodate firework preparations in the area.  

*50 Ave will be closed to traffic between 50 St and 49 St from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
**Lede Drive will be closed July 1 for firework preparations and launch and will reopen on July 2
