Workshop - Risk Management for Volunteer Managers
The purpose of a Risk Management Plan is to protect your organization, staff, volunteers and clients. The more you can make risk management a part of your organization's culture, the more it puts your organization, rather than the potential risks, in charge. It makes no difference whether staff or volunteers provide a servic, if something goes wrong, your organization could be exposed to liability.
Managing risk doesn't have to be an intimidating or overwhelming task! A successful risk management strategy is one that is tailored to your organization.
Topics covered in this workshop include:
- Discover what is risk and risk management
- Define the in-depth process of risk management
- Create and implement a risk management plan
- Evaluation the outcomes
