Join us in Leduc for Canada Day Celebrations

Celebrate Canada Day in Leduc on July 1, 2024, with a variety of community events and a free community concert featuring The Trews and opening act Arcana Kings.  

Confirmed events and activities: 

  • Pancake Breakfast at Leduc Co-Op Food Store parking lot 
  • Family-friendly activities at the Grain Elevator 
  • Main Street car show with entertainment by Hockey Circus  
  • Community concert at the Leduc Recreation Centre parking lot 
  • High-flying fireworks show 

“Canada Day is one of the signature events in our city that truly brings the community together,” says City of Leduc Mayor Bob Young. “Canada Day has a unique ability to remind us that we are all connected through community. Our differences are our strength and it's important to celebrate our own contributions to the Canadian identity.”  

The Trews are a Canadian rock band from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Their repertoire includes hits like “Not Ready To Go”, “Hope & Ruin” and “Hold Me In Your Arms.” The Arcana Kings are another Canadian rock band that has garnered fans from around the world with their high energy and unique use of the bagpipes.
