50 Street Roadwork
50 Street between Black Gold Drive and Bella Coola Drive will undergo surface overlays, extensive concrete repairs, and minor road widening adjacent to the hospital this season to ensure their continued stability and safety for years to come.
There may be temporary periods of lane closures and detours for motorists. Please follow signage in the area and drive to the posted speed limit.

| Aug, 23, 2023 | Work is complete (outside of a few arrows that need to be painted). |
| Aug. 9, 2023 | Concrete and paving is complete, line painting is ongoing. Expected to be done by end of week. |
| July 20, 2023 | Concrete work will be complete by the end of the week. Work is beginning at the intersection of 50 Street and Bella Coola Drive for the sliver widening (to allow proper lane widths). Milling of 50 Street will begin the night of July 24, and will be followed by paving and lane marking. Work will occur at night throughout the week. |
| July 14, 2023 | Concrete work is near complete on the west side. Milling and paving is expected to begin the week of July 17. |
| June 22, 2023 | Replacement along the east side, including the widening, is complete. Work is beginnign on the west side concrete, which will take approximately three weeks. |
| May 25, 2023 | Curb and gutter replacement along the east side of the street has begun and should take approximately three weeks to complete. Expect delays while traveling northbound 50th St. as single lane closures are now in place. |
