Overview:
- A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) conducted at the City’s Public Works Storage Yard in Lede Park identified several areas of potential contamination, such as street sweepings, soil piles, and a hydrovac pit.
- A Phase II ESA then identified the need for a Supplemental Phase II ESA and groundwater monitoring in 2021.
- Following the Supplemental Phase II ESA, we will determine if a Remedial Action Plan and further work is required by Alberta Environment and Parks.
