Lane failure requires emergency reconstruction. Design is ongoing and residents can expect a full reconstruction of this lane this year.

Sept. 30, 2021 On-time Paving is complete. Gravel tie-ins and landscaping are expected to occur next week. 
Sept. 24, 2021 On-time Paving tentatively scheduled for next week. 
Sept. 17, 2021 On-time Gravel anticipated to be complete by the end of the week; asphalt tentatively scheduled for next week. 
Sept. 9, 2021 On-time Excavation and gravel placement in the west end was complete last week. Stage 2 of excavation and gravel placement is anticipated to be complete next week with asphalt to follow. 
Sept. 1, 2021 On-time Work began last week, with the contractor staging the work in two parts. The west stage of gravel is anticipated to be complete next week, with the second stage to follow. Paving will begin once all gravel is complete. 
August 24, 2021 Scheduled Reconstruction work anticipated to begin the week of August 30. Impacted residents were delivered a construction notice directly from the contractor. 
July 22, 2021 Scheduled Tentative start set for mid-August.
July 15, 2021 Scheduled Tentative start set for August. 
June 30, 2021 Scheduled Tentative late July start. 
June 24, 2021 Scheduled Songhurst Wynd reconstruction is scheduled for July. 
June 16, 2021 Scheduled Start date for work in Songhurst Wynd has been re-scheduled for mid-July. 
June 3, 2021 On-time Work in Southfork will begin next week (June 7). Initial work will focus on the Southwick Point lane, and the Songhurst Wynd lane will commence after Southwick Point is complete to avoid further parking congestion in the area.
May 27, 2021 Scheduled Expected to begin the week of June 7 (weather pending). The contractor will deliver a construction notice directly to residents later next week with further details. 
May 13, 2021 Scheduled Design is ongoing. More details to come when available.
