50th Street between 50th Avenue and 47th Avenue

  • Will undergo a surface overlay
  • Minor spot repairs will be made to curb, sidewalk, and commercial crossings
  • Minor modifications will be made to the wetbound turning lane at 50th Street to better delineate the turning lane from the straight-through northbound lanes.

July 22, 2021 On-time Work is substantially complete.
July 15, 2021 On-time Paving complete; crosswalk to be painted. 
July 7, 2021 On-time Milling to begin this week with paving to follow next week. 
June 30, 2021 On-time Milling to start week of July 5 followed by paving. This will be night work. 
June 24, 2021 On-time Concrete repairs have started and are anticipated to be complete toward the end of next week. Milling and paving is scheduled to begin the week of July 5. 
June 16, 2021 On-time Removals and repairs are ongoing; concrete pour scheduled for end of this week. Milling is scheduled for early to mid-July.
June 9, 2021 On-time Concrete sawcutting expected to start on Friday, June 11. Removals and repairs will occur next week. 
June 2, 2021 On-time Concrete repair work on the west side of 50th Street is scheduled to begin next week (June 7). This work will see the southbound curb lane of 50th Street closed during off-peak hours to safely accommodate workers. 
May 27, 2021 Scheduled Concrete repair work on the west side of 50th Street is scheduled to begin in the next two weeks. This will see the southbound curb lane of 50th Street closed during off-peak hours to safely accommodate workers. 
May 13, 2021 Scheduled The scope of work has been awarded and the contractor is planning the work, which is anticipated to begin in June. More updates to come when contractor is ready to move into the area. 
April 12, 2021 Scheduled Project currently in the design and procurment phase and additonal information will follow prior to construction.
